If there have been lots of data changes on the server, then a sync of the app may fail. This is because the differences between the data on the server and the device is too large to be reconciled. It may also be possible that there is some bad data that causes the App to timeout. An app reset may be necessary to make sure your device has all the newest / valid data from the server.
If the App gets stuck on a sync the first thing to try is force syncing specific documents to make sure the office have all your open orders.
If you have already force synced your documents or this is also failing try resetting the app.
Install the new version of the app
If you are still having trouble after a reset try deleting and re-installing the app from the App Store. This will make sure there is no orphaned data in the app causing issues.
