How orders get to NAV

A few times every hour NAV will check SalesMachineX for new orders.

If NAV sees a new order waiting it will take it along with its lines.

How an order is synced from iPad

When an order is synced from an iPad the order header comes first, followed by all the lines.

If there are a lot of lines to sync this may take a while.

In some instances, these two actions may overlap.

NAV may take the order and the lines before all the lines are synced from the iPad.

This would result in an incomplete order being received by NAV.

Solution:

We have implemented a holding table that only releases the order to NAV once all the lines have been received. The user needs to be on at least v3.1.6 of the App for this to work.

Still having problems:

Check that the users device software is up to date and they are running the newest version of the App as this fix was implemented in v3.1.6

How to check the version of the App

Get the user to send you a screenshot of their App menu and you will see what version they are on. If they are v3.1.5 or lower then they need to upgrade their app as soon as possible and you will need to send the order through again.
