Send Updates or Send & receive updates
The sync has been split to give you an extra choice when in an area with low connection. You can now send just your updates by pressing the ‘Send updates’ button. This will send all your documents to the cloud but will not bring back new prices etc. This could be useful in a low signal area. The ‘Send & receive’ button works just as the normal sync worked before, it will send your updates and bring down all changes from the office.
Sending updated will push all your changes to the cloud. This is a good method if you not have a very strong signal and want to make sure the office gets your sales documents.
Send & receiving updates will push all your changes to cloud and will also bring down any new updates for stock and pricing etc. This will take longer to complete and should be done when you have a strong connection.
When performing a sync the sync dialog will now show progress of the sync. In low signal areas even sending a couple of lines on an order can take a few seconds, the progress indicator will show you something is happening and that the sync has not paused.
